After Holy Child Sports Council (hence forth HCSC) has been made aware through CYO officials, or other official parties associated with the CYO program, that any individual, including Player, Coach, Parent/Guardian, or any other individual associated with Holy Child Sports Program has been involved in an incident deemed poor sportsmanship behavior, HCSC will convene and determine the level of' misconduct and subsequent course of action and resolution. Behavior of poor sportsmanship conduct extends outside of events if directly related to the CYO sports program and it includes poor sportsmanship behavior on social media.
Level I
Behavior which results in a player, coach, parent/guardian, family member or any persons associated with Holy Child sports program being involved in an incident deemed to be of poor sportsmanship like conduct which may or may not result in the removal from any gym or facility due to their behavior. This behavior is of poor sportsmanship like conduct or disrespect towards any players, coaches, referees, opposing teams, or any parent or fan before, during or after a game. This behavior also extend to comments on social media.
Penalty for a level I misconduct may result in suspension from participating in future events such as games, including playoffs, final championships, pep rallies or any other event affiliated with CYO sports.
A suspension maybe up to 5 events based on the recommendation of HCS
Level II
A repeated Level I offender during the current CYO season.
A level of poor sportsmanship like conduct of any individual associated with the Holy Child Sports program, including but not limited to, any player, coach, parent/guardian that has been removed from any gym or facility due to his behavior. If during the incident the offending individual uses profanity of any sort, makes any threats to harm any individual, or displays any behavior in contradiction to the good order of the Holy Child Sports program, before, during or after an event related to the CTO sports program including social media.
If an offender refuses to leave the gym or any sports facility on his own account after being requested to do so by a responsible party associated with CYO sports program due to poor sportsmanship conduct.
Any offender who steps on to the gym court during an incident without the
direct authorization of a responsible party associated with the facility and does so in an attempt to disrupt a game or an event.
Penalty for a level II misconduct may result in suspension from participating in future events such as games, including playoffs, final championships, pep rallies or any other event affiliated with CYO sports. Suspension maybe extended to participation to any event that is related to the offender's other registered child.
Based on the recommendation of the HCSC a suspension maybe up to 10 events to be served consecutively and may extend into the following season.
Level III
Any repeated level II offender anytime during the offender's affiliation with Holy Child Sports program
A level of poor sportsmanship like conduct of any individual associated with the Holy Child Sports program, including but limited to, any player, coach, parent/guardian that is involved in a physical fight or comes into physical contact with any individual during an in incident of misbehavior, before, during or after an event related to the CYO sports program.
Based on the recommendation of the HCSC the penalty for a LEVEL Ill offender may result in a suspension greater than 20 days to be served consecutively and may extend into the following seasons.
Penalty may also result in the expulsion from Holy Child Sports program for the current CYO season and may be extended to a lifetime expulsion of the offending individual.
